Renault admit Race Fixing - Formula 1 update - F1 Rules Formula one have major twist. Renault take legal action against Piquets.
Renault have started criminal proceedings against their former driver Nelson Piquet and his father for alleging that the team rigged a Formula One race by ordering him to crash.
Renault said "The ING Renault F1 Team will not dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA concerning the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix"
Renault will still face the FIA's World Motor Sport Council hearing in Paris on September 21, as the charge was levelled against the team and not any one individual.
